The 200-meter-long Ro-Ro vessel ordered by the Russian FSUE Rosmorport company to be used on the Ust-Luga-Baltiysk route and built by Kuzey Star Shipyard was launched today in a ceremony. The ship, named Marshal Rokossovsky, will also be the first Ro-Ro in Russia to operate with LNG. In addition to transporting cars, trucks, and trailers, the ship will also be able to carry wagons. While the delivery of Marshal Rokossovsky was planned for the first quarter of 2021, the construction of another Ro-Ro vessel, General Chernyakhovsky, for the same company is still ongoing at Kuzey Shipyard
