Kuzey Star Shipyard has started its first transformation project. As part of this project, they have begun converting the offshore support vessel named Grip Marine, which was built in 2012 and measures 86 meters in length and 18 meters in width, into a live fish carrier (wellboat).
During the conversion process of the Grip Marine, built nine years ago, 255 tons of pipes, including galvanized, stainless steel, and fish pipes, will be installed and mounted with special couplings. The vessel will be equipped with ozone oxygen systems, RSW systems, RO systems, and vacuum chamber systems. Additionally, two units of movable partitions weighing 20 tons each, made of stainless steel, will be installed. The vessel will also feature up to 200 electrical cabinets and will have eight main circulation system pumps with a capacity of 3500 cbm each.
